Who Are We
Meet the Founders and the Senior team behind Premier Care (Midlands) Ltd.
Patricia Coleman-Taylor
Director of Premier Care Midlands Ltd

Patricia’s earlier career was spent in the food industry. By her late twenties she was managing large scale food manufacturing operations and in her thirties, had responsibility for advising organisations on UK and EU standards for ethically provided food products.
When her father was hospitalised with the final stages of cancer, his dearest wish was to return home for his final days. Completing his life on his terms was everything for him.
Patricia enabled her father’s wish to become reality and in doing this she realised that every person should have the same choice - to remain at home and live their life their way with dignity, irrespective of illness or infirmity. She left her established career twenty years ago to focus on building a service that cares for others in the community.
In dedicating herself to the principle of enabling others to continue to live for the whole of their life - their way, Patricia leads a team of dedicated and capable individuals who share the same passion. Together they have created a highly caring and effective organisation committed to serving the people of Coventry, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Solihull with all of their heart and soul - putting the needs of others first and doing so with exceptional skill and ability.
Her faith is of significant importance to Patricia’s life and when not overseeing Premier Care she volunteers as Safeguarding Coordinator for her Church and is an active member of the pastoral team supporting individuals facing challenging situations in their lives. Patricia and her husband Paulo spend as much time as possible in Paulo’s native Portugal relaxing with their teenage and grown up children.
Katie Blunden
Operations Director

From an early age Katie has been passionate about care and making a difference for others, she has dedicated her entire career to caring for others and most specifically promoting independence of choice.
Immediately after college and the successful completion of the first of her many health and social care qualifications, Katie joined the Health and Social Care Sector in her native Stockton on Tees as a Care and Support worker, progressing to Care Coordinator.
In 2010 Katie joined Premier Care Midlands and through continuous professional development and sheer hard work qualified as a Registered Manager initially and now as our Operations Director, has responsibility for all of our care services.
Katie’s Grandfather who had always been a strong, very independent and successful man, battled with dementia and his later years were in a residential home. Something that he would have never chosen. This highly personal experience was pivotal in helping Katie to decide that her life should be devoted to the enabling people to have the care and support that they need whilst remaining in their own homes. No matter what their illness, condition or disability.
Over many years of working with children, young people and adults Katie has gained significant knowledge and experience in how to develop and provide, diverse opportunities to enable others and develop a truly responsive and flexible support service.
Katie leads a team of highly able and competent individuals. She actively encourages each person to develop to their full potential and to progress within the company, just as she has achieved. This approach not only provides the company with exceptional staff but creates a working environment which is both welcoming and fulfilling.
For relaxation, Katie likes nothing more than spending time with her husband Simon and their three children exploring the lovely Warwickshire Countryside or visiting family in County Durham.
Jodie Cadman
Area Compliance manager

Jodie joined Premier Care as Registered Manager of our Wyre Forest Branch in 2018, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the Health and Social Care Sector. Since joining the organisation, Jodie has not let the grass grow under her feet; as a key member of the team, Jodie established the Extra Care and Domiciliary Care Support for Solihull in 2019 and in early 2020, Jodie was promoted to Area Compliance Manager for the whole organisation.
Working alongside the Company Directors Patricia and Katie and supporting each of our Branch Managers, Jodie ensures that the highest of standards of Service, Quality and Safety are achieved by every team member in the best interests of every one to whom we provide care and support.
Outside of work, Jodie likes to balance her busy role at work with an equally busy home life. With her two eldest children away serving in the Army, Jodie and her partner James still have six more children at home. For a little relaxation, Jodie likes walking in the Malvern Hills and the Lake District.
Dani
Registered Manager - Coventry Branch

From a very young age Dani decided to pursue a career which involved caring for others. She studied social care at school and she volunteered at an after school club and a dementia residential care home. After leaving school Dani started her career in care work and she has not looked back.
Dani believes that every person is unique and it is so important that as they become older their choices and wishes are considered as the priority by those around them. Dani really enjoys interacting with the people who use the service. Making someone smile doesn’t just make a world of difference for that person, Dani says it makes her role truly fulfilling and worth everything.
Since joining the Company in 2015, Dani has not just worked hard at making a difference for others, she has also worked hard at developing her own skills and abilities. Dani is our youngest manager to achieve Level 5 in Care and CQC Registered Manager Qualification.
She now has responsibility for the day to day management of our very busy Coventry Branch. An incredible achievement and very well deserved.
When not working tirelessly for others Dani likes to spend her time with family and friends.
Or as she says just being with those most dear to you is the best way to wind down and relax.
Joshua
Registered Manager - Warwickshire Branch

Joshua comes from South London; an environment where good life opportunities for young people to succeed and excel can be highly challenging and difficult to achieve. Joshua was determined that this would not be the case for him.
Joshua’s mum was a care worker and growing up he was inspired by her commitment to care for others and how her actions were having a positive impact on his local community around him.
Determined to make a difference for himself and those around him, Joshua applied for his first role as a care and support worker in 2010, and he hasn’t looked back –‘I was amazed to discover that the Health and Social Care Sector was exactly where I wanted to be’. He continued to develop his skills and knowledge within Health and Social care and with hard work and perseverance he successfully achieved his NVQ level 5 enabling him to be promoted to the challenging but rewarding role of Care Manager. In 2015 he gained his registration with The Care Quality Commission and became a Registered Manager.
In 2018 Joshua left London and relocated with his wife and their two children to Rugby where he joined the Premiercare Midlands team in early 2019.
Joshua believes opportunities should be available for all individuals, no matter the challenges they face in early life and so he actively encourages his staff to continue their personal development through life long education and training.
When not working Joshua and his wife Jade (a local primary school teacher) spend their time enjoying the outdoors, sport and supporting their children to have a healthy, active and fulfilling lifestyle.
The commitment and dedication that Joshua brings to the team is the definition of leading by example; it is theses qualities he possesses that lifted him out of a challenging start in life to achieve his potential and enable his own children to have the very best of opportunities for their future.
